Barat S.A. carefully selects pure raw materials from Serres’ plain, Macedonia and all over Greece, using Greek products and co-operating with local producers. Assuring consumer’s perfect health is one of the main core values of our company. Therefore, protection and safety of our products always come first.
In order to ensure the quality of the whole production process and in accordance with European Parliament’s (EP) regulation 852/2004, the company establishes, applies and maintains standard ISO 22000 (Haccp) food safety that identifies health and hygiene hazards (biological, chemical and physical), which adversely affect the safety of products, and determines their control and neutralization.
Barat S.A. is also in the process of fulfilling the international certification standard “International Food Standard” (IFS), aiming to achieve new co-operations abroad.
